Doonbeg
On the N67 between Kilkee and Miltown Malbay - the village being around remains of Doonbeg castle, which was built in the 15/16th century. A safe swimming beach is at the White Strand. Some picturous spots are in the village along the Doonbeg river and across the remains of the old castle. Activities include walking, surfing, bird watching
