Doonbeg

On the N67 between Kilkee and Miltown Malbay - the village being around remains of Doonbeg castle, which was built in the 15/16th century. A safe swimming beach is at the White Strand. Some picturous spots are in the village along the Doonbeg river and across the remains of the old castle.
