Surfing

Canoeing
The River Shannon is best for lake canoeing; sea canoeists and canoe surfers find some of Europe's best sites along our west coast. There are approved canoe centers.
Diving
The quality of the water makes our coastal
waters a paradise for subaqua divers!
Averaging underwater visibility is over
12 metres!
Sailing
The Shannon Estuary and, most notably Lough Derg in East Clare are sought-after places to sail. The Kilrush Marina offers Yacht harbouring and chartering possibilities.
